Bob, Suffolk Intergroup’s erstwhile Archivist, has recently discovered a “new” oldest article written for the Grapevine by a Suffolk County AA member.  The new article appeared two years before the article that was previously thought to have been the first contribution from Suffolk.  The article, written by “H.S.” of Lake Ronkonkoma, appeared in the October 1953 issue of the Grapevine .  If there is anyone who remembers “H.S.” and can supply some background information about him or her, please contact Bob in care of the SIA office.  If anyone is interested in helping Bob with this invaluable, there is work for many hands yet to be done. HE’S RETIRED
