- Super Sponsorship
Is your Group interested in service? Does it support AA as a whole?  Does your Group help to carry AA's message of recovery?  There's a way to do all of these things - by sponsoring subscriptions to the Grapevine and La Vina .
These are our magazines, our "meetings in print."  Often times, newcomers aren't ready to attend a meeting or read the
Big Book,  but a magazine, with brief articles and even a few jokes, may be do-able. (Remember those days?).
     The SENY
Grapevine/La Vina committee recently began contacting detoxes, institutions, facilities, doctors, and other professionals et al, to see if they might be interested in receiving copies of the Grapevine and/or La Vina , as well as looking for groups that might be interested in sponsoring them.  Some groups have already begun sponsoring local facilities so that the current issues of our magazines are there, no matter when a meeting might be available.
If your Group is not able to sponsor subscription ˆš

A Reminder from the Editor's Desk
There may be some who are not familiar with our tradition of personal anonymity at the public level.  "Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion..."  Thus, we remind AA speakers and AA members not to be photographed, videotaped or identified by full name on audiotapes and in published or broadcast reports of our meetings, including those reports on new media technologies such as the Internet.
The assurance of anonymity is essential in our efforts to help other problem drinkers who may wish to share our recovery program with us. And our tradition of anonymity reminds us that "AA principles come before personalities."
